A Visit
To The Delaware River©
is a
story about Christopher Otter's first adventure away from his friends and his home
along the Sugar River. Christopher travels along new rivers and around
different bends within the waterways and finally reaches the tri-state
boundaries of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. There he meets a new friend named
Barred Owl. Barred Owl gives young Christopher Otter a history lesson
about the Delaware River and historic Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania area, and
adjoining New Jersey and New York countryside. Featured
with Christopher Otter are Barred Owl, Grayfeather Hawk, Mariah Muskrat, Hoot
Owl, Benjamin Beaver and, of course, the historical
Delaware River.
